INYONI ROCKS CABANAS A Amanzimtoti (also referred to as Toti) block of some perfectly located holiday flats, situated alongside the Beach Road promenade and right on the Amanzimtoti main beach next to the life saving and main beach offices. It consists of 64 all privately owned residential Sectional Title flats, though one is owned by the Body Corporate. The most sought after ground floor sea facing duplexes are perfectly situated in the complex, ideal for family sea holiday accommodation and offering full sea view, including beach and full ocean view from both veranda and balcony, with the ocean almost on your doorstep.
Only some of the flats are being made available for rent, via different agents, or owners themselves mostly for holiday accommodation, with different prices, layouts, interiors, view and services and items. We can offer you the best with regard to price, service and position from any comparable offerings from the area! Inyoni Rocks Cabanas provides some of the best holiday and business accommodation available in the ever popular seaside town of Amanzimtoti, situated on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal, also called the hibiscus coast, and is close to what used to be the Durban international airport (only 12 Kms away). The new King Shaka Airport is to the North of Durban and is still easily reachable by the N2 highway, around 64Kms. Amanzimtoti is one of the bigger coastal towns situated on the outskirts of Durban and falling under the eThekweni / Durban municipality. Inyoni Rocks Cabanas consists of stacked duplex units with 180 degree sea, breaker and beach views from both sea facing floors. All units have the main and second bedrooms upstairs, same with both bathrooms. Some are en suite. The few three bedroom units are a bit wider and stand out around a meter to the front. This blocks the views to one side of some of the flats. All also have a small guest toilet downstairs. The ground floor sea facing units have the veranda and large grass area in front and a large balcony leading from the bedrooms. Upper floor duplexes have a smaller balcony leading from the lounge areas. Also note that interior brickwork is not the same throughout as these are all privately owned. Downstairs is an open plan lounge with sliding doors leading to the patio and from there to the large garden area and complex garden, with only a few small trees providing some shade, yet not blocking the incredible views. Both the veranda and first floor balcony of the ground floor units offer breathtaking views of the beach, breakers and ocean with it's surfer's paradise swells. Also downstairs are the kitchen, dining room and a guest toilet. Being all private, units are equipped with differing items like stoves, microwave, fridge and television with DSTV (Digital Satellite Television), eg. full premium bouquet. Just note that some have only the hotel bouquet or other limited ones. One undercover parking is included and additional open parking is also available, as well as parking for trailers. Access to the electric fenced premises is controlled by electronic access control with a day and night guard on duty. To top it all, with your sea facing Inyoni Rocks Cabana comes a breathtaking 180 degree sea, breakers and beach view from both veranda and balcony, included in your traveling package free of charge! To complement your Durban and Amanzimtoti holiday accommodation experience the private complex has two communal braai (barbeque) areas as well as a large salt water swimming pool and a splash pool for the children. Situated right on the Amanzimtoti main beach, next to the life guard's beach office and publicity association, the centrally positioned Inyoni Rocks Cabana apartment block is also close to all amenities. The beach access gate opens up on the promenade running along the famous Amanzimtoti beach front from the lagoon to close to pipeline beach. It's only a few meter's walk and you're on the Amanzimtoti main swimming beach. On the bathing beach is a large sea water rock pool (olympic size), a smaller one with slides and a paddle pool (All were damaged by the tidal waves in March 2007 but has since been repaired). These are all public facilities monitored by life guards. Also available on the Inyoni Rocks bathing beach are restaurants, shops, takeaways, Splash water world offering slides, pools and mini golf (put-put) meandering underneath the super tubes. Access is controlled and they charge a daily tariff providing you with a slide as much as you can experience. After mid day you can gain access for about half price. The Toti Fun Train ride that used to be situated next to Splash has unfortunately been removed after the 2007 storm damage. The main Amanzimtoti shopping centre with pubs, shops and banking facilities is approximately one kilometre from Inyoni Rocks Cabanas, reachable by walking along the promenade or the Beach road sidewalk. Some of the superb pubs and restaurants also provide live entertainment. Across from the shopping centre is an entertainment centre (also accessible from the promenade) offering arcade games, pubs, ten pin bowling and bump cars. Rowing and pedal boat trips in the nearby lagoon offers additional entertainment for the whole family. The uShaka Marine World theme park in Durban, offering a world of ocean activities, rides, oceanarium, amusement park, displays, shopping, beach activities and helicopter flights is also available nearby. (Public transport might be available during peak seasons.) Being the closest block of flats to the Amanzimtoti main beach, this is definitely one self catering holiday accommodation location not to be missed! It's also close to what used to be the Durban international airport, and arriving in South Africa from abroad, seeking some sun and fun in the sea is no problem at all, if your destination is Inyoni Rocks Cabanas, as it has been benchmarked as some of the best quality accommodation in Amanzimtoti!!! If on business, visitors will find all facilities, yet be able to relax and unwind. Durban hosts at least two Casinos for those that like to gamble, namely the Sibaya Casino in Umdloti on the North Coast and the Durban Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World. The KZN casinos offer a variety of entertainment besides the games and offering the excitement of posibly winning millions. The Durban harbour is also well known to be the busiest port on the African continent, yet lending itself to provide the Durban visitor with plenty to experience, Dolphin and whale watching, harbour cruises and wining and dining to name a few. Humpbacked and occasionally Southern Right Whales can frequently be seen off the KwaZulu-Natal coast from June to September when moving north on their way to their breeding grounds off the Mozambique coast, just to return September to November, heading for the nutrient-rich waters of Antarctica. Durban and Amanzimtoti also experience the annual June/July phenomenon considered to be the most important biological occurrence taking place in KwaZulu-Natal waters when sardine shoals with millions of sardines migrate up the north coast towards Mozambique, also called the sardine run. Amanzimtoti has well established sports facilities situated at Hutchison park which includes rugby, soccer, cricket, tennis, squash, cycling and a bowling club. Amanzimtoti covers a vast area and includes Isipingo, Prospecton, Athlone Park, Umbogintwini, Amanzimtoti, KwaMakhutha, Ezimbokodweni, Magabheni, Adams Mission, Umbumbulu, Doonside, Kingsburgh, St Winifreds, Winklespruit, Illovo Beach, Karridene, Lovu, Umgababa, Umnini, Umkomaas, Widenham and Clansthal making it a excellent getaway. Adams Mission College, established in 1884, was founded by an American, Dr Newton Adams. The old Jubilee building now houses a History and Science Museum and Resource Cente. For a diving challenge, the nearby Aliwal Shoal is internationally recognized as one of the top ten dive sites in the world and divers will be thrilled. With a respite from work you can easily transform your vacation time of rest, leisure, recreation and amusement in Amanzimtoti into one of the best seaside holidays ever!
